But it hasn't been enough, so I'm finally here to do my part. I tried to help contain the invasion, by leaving some Astronite and clues for the monsters in Petra & Elektra. I followed the Abominations closely, studying their weak spots. Then I saw from afar how Copperbeard found it and everything went wrong soon after that.
I wasn't mentally ready to use my new powers and I knew that everyone would fight over the Astronite. I found Astronite in Copperbeard's cave way before he did, and when I picked it up, I didn't know it would transform me. All I did was wander the universe and explore every corner. Including the rare situation you brought up where an opponent runs two anticipation monsters simultaneously, as if they’re constantly expecting to run into a fusion+extra turner combo.I'm VoltaiK! No, Voltaik is still not the best attacker in the game - but he, Zyla, and Charmless did just become somewhat relevant again in some situations. With no more anticipation and thunder weakness applied everywhere - Voltaik wipes your entire team with ease. Either way, it’s fusion’s turn again, she disables your second monster with anticipation and is now free to turn cycle as long as she wants - and considering she can hold a charging banner? Yeah, she can take her time to apply thunder weakness to all three of your monsters, then turn transfer to Voltaik. Madam fusion gets another turn and disables anticipation on one your strongest attacker, your weaker attacker makes an attempt to finish off the mega-taunt monster - maybe they have the juice, maybe they don’t.
Your anticipation monsters get a turn in - Marquis, Hookuai, doesn’t matter - unless you’re one of the few people lucky enough to own a 110 or above ragnarock, you’re not removing the opponent’s mega-taunt, so fusion can continue to pick you apart. Battle begins, your opponent removes your mega-taunt. Say in this BS scenario the opponent brings in Voltaik, Madam Fusion, and there own megataunt monster. Bring Dunn RA and two anticipation monsters. As if people often run two anticipation monsters🙄But since you wanna make up a BS scenario, let’s do it.
